Guest guest Posted November 27, 2002 Report Share Posted November 27, 2002 Just wanted to let you guys know that I called Splenda to see if they had any recommendations for recipes with brown sugar. I know there is some SF brown sugar out there, but I cook so little that I don't want to buy a whole box. So, the lady told me that this is not endorsed by Splenda, but the girls in the office there get together and try all different things, and what they've come up with is combining 3/4 cup granular Splenda and 1-2 Tbs. SF maple syrup. She said the consistency is a little different, but the taste is pretty close. This non-cook thought that was pretty cool.
