Guest guest
Hello everyone - I am now back in Jeddah for a few days, but we leave for Botswana the day after tomorrow. My sister's funeral went very well, there were a lot of people there, including 's friends and residents from the sheltered house where she lived for the last 20 years. I did have a moment's trepidation when Beryl, a very happy soul, who did not understand fully what was going on, got the giggles, and for a moment I thought it was going to catch everyone! Fortunately not. We all went to the pub afterwards for refreshments, and that was a mixture of tears and laughter. I'm happy her suffering is over, and firmly believe she is in a better place, however I shall always miss her. Once more, I would like to thank everyone for their kind thoughts and prayers, it has been of great support to me. Love Liz __________________________________________________

It sounded beautiful. Please have a fun and safe Safari... I will be thinking of you often... How long will you be gone? Lots of warm hugs
Guest guest
, I am glad you are feeling a bit better - hope you continue to improve. The funeral was lovely, if you can say that about a funeral, and I am glad I made it, too. The trip to Botswana is getting shorter because the boss is so busy - it was postponed 5 days, then we were leaving today, now we are leaving tomorrow. The wedding afterwards has also been delayed, so MAYBE we will be able to add a couple of days on the end... our life isz always like this - things change all the time. I expect we will be back in Ca at the end of June, but there are never any guarantees. I will think of you all, keep your fingers crossed we don't meet any elephants head on! Reem and Lana and I are already getting nervous about that!! --- RCColloran@... wrote: > Liz, you know our thoughts and prayers are always > with you....
