Guest guest
I have a cosmetic question regarding, well, I forgot the medical term, but the surgery for an underbite. I'm set to have both upper and lower jaws done in June. Does the surgery effect your jawline profile (as in the jawline below your ear)? Or does it mainly change your chin line? Thanks in advance. -AJ
Guest guest
i can't really tell a difference in my jaw line by my ears. i can definitely tell a difference in my chin. but i haven't seen before and after pics yet. my OS will probably take my " after " pics on my next visit to him. i guess i'll really be able to tell what changed then. but just from my current perspective, really only my chin changed. as is true for everyone, each case is different, so you never know. > I have a cosmetic question regarding, well, I forgot the medical > term, but the surgery for an underbite. Guest guest
Depending how your underbite will be fixed. If by saggital split - only the frontal part should be set back. If by vertical osteotomy - the back of your jaw line may be effected. > I have a cosmetic question regarding, well, I forgot the medical > term, but the surgery for an underbite.
