Because I was

off the methotrexate and Enbrel - I had a major relapse. I have had to

take the prednisone up to 60 mgs 3 times and am working my way down

again. In the meantime my blood pressure has gotten very high and had

to add blood pressure meds too.

I have also developed cataracts on both eyes. I am scheduled for

removal on the right eye in July.

Thanks for looking into this for me. Pam had sent me some info on where

the tests can be done in the US. I would very, very much, if possible, like

to stay on this side of the US to get the test. The trip to CA was very

difficult, painful and tiring. I'm not too ready to go that route any time

soon. We are here in NC so East Coast within driving range... Heck, I'd

even let drive me 400 miles before thinking about going on a plane

again any time soon.

I think they do this kind of PET scans at University of California,

Irvine. At least you might ask them. they had a conference there that I

attended that was about PET scans and what they show in Parkinson's and

Schizophrenia. It was a couple of years ago, but it was very interesting. I

teach a class out there, and I will see what I can find out for you.
