Hi /Glenda and all,

Just got back from Boston last night and had a

wonderful time. I ate way too much! I think my mom

and I ate and drank our way thru Boston in between the

sight-seeing!! Lots of delicious lobster. Also went

on a fabulous luncheon cruise in the harbor on

Saturday! And then a huge brunch at the Marriott Long

Wharf on Sunday. Oh well, it was a great time and I

can worry about dieting later. LOL I'm sure my IV

cytoxan treatment tomorrow will help curb my appetite

for awhile!!! LOL

Hope all is well with you and everyone in the group.

I'll try to catch up on my mail soon.

By the way, my appt with Dr went very well. He

is pleased with my progress on the IV cytoxan and he

wants to continue it. It's not clear how much longer

my body will be able to tolerate such high doses,

since I've been on it for about a year now. We'll

just have to wait and see how my bone marrow holds up

since we're starting to see signs of suppression

(decreased hemoglobin, hematocrit, etc.) I guess I'll

just keep my fingers crossed and enjoy the good days

between IV's while I am blessed to have them!!

Take care everyone!

Love,

Connie R.

So glad that you had a good time in Boston. Someone in the group was asking

about a good eye dr. in Boston and I told them that is where you went to the dr.

Don't remember who it was that was asking though. Oh no now I sound like

. We have been around each other too long!LOL Glad that your appt. went

well!

Take care and thanks for letting us know what is going on with you. So glad

that you can enjoy the time with your mother. I sure miss mine and wish that I

could have done more with her but she is in a much better place now.

Think of you often! Please don't stay away so long this time!

Lots of Love

Glenda

Connie, tell me more about the lobster! I'm a transplanted Yankee and I miss

Boston and my lobster, steamed clams, King Crab and just about everything you

mentioned. I am drooling over my keyboard!

I'm so glad you had such a good time, Boston is a wonderful city! I miss it

too. Boy, guess I'd better go back east soon, I'm getting really homesick!

Love, Judy
