Guest guest
Ok, it has gotten kind of funny how many times a week I fall down and how many things items I drop and break as well. I have bought plastic cups and plates now (no, machine washable.) I remind myself now every time the door or phone rings - count to five and take your time- who cares if you miss it. I am like some pathetic cartoon character - feet one way- body the other - thoughts somewhere else. I have broken my ribs three times this year, sprained my ankle atleast twice, wrist once, chipped my coxix (sp) again, one major jaw to the floor smack, and I hit my head atleast twice a week (no depth peception). I have so many bumps and bruises people must think I am abused !!!!! I have also fallen in to one manhole and one pothole in two years! I get into the car and wham - the head. And just three years ago I was still jumping horses and ice skating professionally. I got through my entire childhood without a single broken major bone. Then for the dizzy spells- at least then I tend to slide if I am not moving in the first place. When i get up in the am i slap into walls trying to make it into the kitchen- and i don't even no i am dizzy. The funniest- and truly- was a date i had last year. i think I tripped about 15 times and was swaying and he was just like " what the .. " He knew me well enough to knowI was sober - but not enough to know the why's. I told him my feet just don't really keep up with me and made it light - later I fessed up after date 2. there was no 3 but it was really quite funny. I tried a quarter of that beta blocker this early afternoon and I am way more dizzy and overheated and seeing stars and nauseated- plain yuck. And even after all of this gatorade my bp is staying down at 70/55 ( and two cups of coffee)- i have even eaten anything more than fruit and a few bites of yogurt. I am suppose to start with 1/2 tab twice daily. I don't know when it does actually raise the bp. I am just taing zofran and sitting infront of the ac unit - gatorade in hand- this will pass! I tried walking but i got overheated too fast. The tachy is down to 88 from my usual 140 at this time of day. I must be ridiculously sensitive to this stuff!!!!! cheers! Guest guest
I have to tell you the best thing that you have done for yourself is slowed down! I just can't imagine the pain of all those broken bones and sprains and everything thing else. I just want to desperately wrap you up in bubble wrap. Who else was I going to do that to? Hmmm, I think it was Rose. If it was someone else you can remind me LOL I think going to plastic and paper was a good economical choice. Anything else would be to costly! As far as the guy you seen twice and didn't see 3 times he didn't deserve you and you are better off without him. There are alot of fish in the sea. I do not know what a beta-blocker is. I guess if it didn't help you it might not be what you needed either. Please be good to yourself! I always tell my kids never to put yourself down because there is always someone else out there wanting to do it for you. So, I have to think of a good saying for you. How about be good to yourself because there is always someone out there that wants to treat you badly? Hey, I never claimed to be a writer but it is the truth!
