Hoi Winifred,

it is common that you delete the parts of the text that is not necessary like the footer and advertisements.

If you reply on a very long letter, it is more clear when you reply just after the part of which you wish to reply.

Hoi Winifred,

as you with this reply, all unnecessary parts are deleted. The only thing that is important is from whom the message came and the message itself. At the footer you will only find once the information about subscription.
