I had open RNY on September 7, 2001 in Albuquerque, NM by Dr. Gerald Demerest and have lost about 115 lbs. I had a hernia repair and abdominoplasty on October 25 of this year. I am 5'1 " and started at 252 lbs. I am now weighing 137 lbs. Don't know what else you want to know. I am the leader of our local WLS support group but most everyone in our group is less than 6 months out. Just needed to talk with folks who are dealing with the same issues I am dealing with.
