Good afternoon,

to in NJ: I'm almost 2 years out (lap RNY 12/13/00). At

almost exactly one year out I started having these pains after

eating (no matter what I ate). It eventually got worse and after

about 4 trips to the ER my doctor sceduled another surgery to find

out what was going on (also after may tests). I suffered from

December 22 until my surgery in March. I was out of work from

January 7 (I didn't mind as I hated that job). Anyway it wond up

being very serious-my intestines twisted. They would almost twist

back and forth for the pain wasn't after every meal. In any event,

I don't want to scare you and this probably isn't your problem, but

again I never really dump and this is what happened to me. I think

I read that you were going to see your doctor-that's good please do

that. I went to my gastro too (my surgeon is in NY and 2 hours away

so I waited a few weeks of tests down here before I went to see

him). Anyway, they tested me for blockages after every " episode "

too. Again, I don't want to scare you-I just want to make sure you

go get checked out. And p.s. I'm way fine now. :) Good luck-

hope you feel better and if feel free to email (anyone that is)

about anything. Take care all-now I go off to shop! :)

Yes, I'm aware of this possibility. It's very scary. But, the pain doesn't

come very often and, in fact, hasn't happened in a few months

, so I'll wait & see. Thanks for the heads up, though.
