My Quick Update

Hi All-

Just wanted to let you know I had a quickie touch up on Monday and am

doing well. The plastic surgeon went in and did a a scar revision and

touch up on the lateral chest/armpit. He spent almost 3 hours

cleaning up the dog ears he left in August as well as extending to

scars to take

care of the excess skin on the lateral rib cage. My scars now wrap

around to my back about 3 inches (but I'd rather have the scars than

the flaps). It still hurts to lift my arms above my head or go

without a bra, but I'm pretty much off the pain meds. I'll go back to

work on Monday.

He also did a little bit of lipo on the right breast to even them out.

My pics are posted on my website at http://spacecdtjan.tripod.com

The latest set was taken about 4 days before the last surgery (12

weeks post-op from round 1).

As much as I'd love to start the process on my legs, I'm done for a

while. Surgeried out... Besides, from the sounds of it, he wants to

make my legs a long term project (2 surgeries 6-8 months apart, with a

6 week recovery for each surgery) and I'm not ready to give up that

much of my life (it's ski season after all....). He'd also like me to

lose another 25 lbs before we

tackle the legs.... That part is still in negociation. :)

Hope everyone is having a good holiday.

Cheers,

jan

Jan, Glad you got the touch ups. You and others that have had PS are so

brave. I am such a wimp. After the original RNY, a revision and then TWO

knee replacements........I am just NOT willing to put myself through any

more pain. I would LOVE to have a lower body lift, but am just so queezy

about the whole thing. I don't think just a regular tummy tuck would do

it. The thighs and butt really need help too. {{{SIGH}}}} I read about

everyone's adventures in plastics........and still almost 4 years

out....I am just not ready.

Boy do I understand about the thighs and butt needing help. I think I

still have elephant thighs and butt. Lori O.
