Guest guest
Bill, Thank you for all of this information. I'm printing it out so that can look over it and know what to ask for. You gave us info that I had not even thought of. We were thinking small turning radius because of the doors in the house and the difficulty getting around in here, hadn't thought about tipping over... now that would really be a mess. thanks again, Deborah _________________________________________________________________ Chat with friends online, try MSN Messenger: http://messenger.msn.com
Guest guest
Jan, Thanks for the info. What is the brand name of the toilet on wheels. said he saw one but that the person using it would have to stand up in order to remove the commode bucket before being able to be transferred over the toilet. It there one that you know of that the bucket could be removed w/o removing the patient first? As independent and successful as I was, I never thought that the day would come that I would be discussing my toileting difficulties with people I have never met and asking them what would help make it easier for my husband to help me with these matters. At 40, I should be worrying about menopause not toilet chairs! Oh sighhhhh.... Thanks Jan and everyone who has sent us info. We do appreciate it very much. Hugs, Deborah _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp. Guest guest
Deborah- The Chair we have happens to fit over our handicap toilet so we don't need to put the bucket in. I just wheel the chair (while he is sitting on it) into the bathroom over the toilet and that's it. It does come with an attachment if the toilet seat is too low so you can roll it over avg. height toilets. As for the enclosed bucket, there is no way that I can see to remove it without standing up. I will go find my paperwork and see if I can find the name. Jan > Jan, > > Thanks for the info.
