Bill, you mention the Chysler mini-van and since I had previously

owned three of them (all during my kids growing up) I thought I'd get

another one. The Turny seat will work in the Chysler but the

wheelchair dealership suggested I not purchase that make. He said

that if we also were to want our bruno lift put in the back for the

electric scooter, the angle of the back hatch was too great and made

it very difficult to do that. As it turned out, I have since decided

the electric scooter is not a good idea for Jerry, but it is still

worthy to note that one should check with the installation specialist

before purchase. Once you drive that vehicle off the lot it is near

impossible to return it. We checked constantly with Bruno to make

sure everything would work prior to signing anything. The

installation guy said the easiest one to adapt happens to be the GM

mini vans (pontiac, chevy and oldsmobile). The doors open widest and

the hatch is not too slanted if you need that as well. We chose

Toyota because it would work and we felt it drove the best. The

entire process seemed to take forever but at least we knew it would

be right and it is too expensive an error to make. Know what you

want/need before you buy.
