Guest guest
Ceep dear... DaVinci is just wonderful with shaved ice. I also make some diet cocoa. Swiss Miss makes a diet....not SF...for those of us who still look at calories, it's 60 vs 25. Anyway, I use the SF marshmallow and hubby actually likes it! You may also try the syrups with the sparkling flavored waters. A way to enhance the flavoring they put in. And ya know....even at Starbucks when they use the SF syrup, they put in about 4 squirts to a medium cup of coffee......so I'm thinking the amount of syrup probably wasn't enough. Too much agua, not enough sugar! Huggzz, Sue davinci syrups use? argh Ok, ewwww, p=tooey, argh, and spit, spit. I tried some berry and some strawberry davinai sugarfree syrup added to regular water to make flavored water. AGGGGGHGHGHGHGHHG. AWFUL!! I was trying to make something low calorie and tasty for my five year old grandson, who dear, dear child, is already struggling with excess weight. I had not tasted it, just assuming it would make the water taste slightly sweet--- so asked him how it was and he said, Yuck Grandma!!! And got this look on his face like a cross between an old shoe and Freddy Kruger. Geez. How are we supposed to use these sugarfree syrups if they taaste crummy in plain water. Maybe thta's the prob, they are in water? thanks in advance for any advice. I mean, like I was thinking of making shaved ice cones with them, but maybe not? ceep Homepage: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/Graduate-OSSG Unsubscribe: mailto:Graduate-OSSG-unsubscribe

If you want to make a fun, tasty drink, mix the syrup with carbonated water and a little ice. I use them with my shaved ice cones. One of my daughters likes them, the other doesn't (we were using banana). The chocolate syrup was NOT good on the shaved ice much to their dismay, but the fruit flavors are. Guest guest
Oh, yeah! They are great for shaved ice. My favorites are watermelon, cola, and root beer but I use the berry, peach, strawberry, and others for shaved ice. I use the hazelnut, irish creme, and amaretto for coffee and shakes the rest I use just for shakes. I use most of them from time to time in sparkling water but just a squirt or so to just give a hint of flavor to the water.
