Guest guest
Sounds great but can an Aid Agency use the equipment? Agencies here bathe but do NOT touch lift, suction, food machines, tubes such as stoma ports or catheter insertion areas for fear of injury lawsuits by aid or patient. My trusted aid, agency and I have a verbal moonlighting agreement and I pay overtime for two person activities. This arrangement has been a great help with non moving big guy for three years since we tried unsuccessfully for some type of insurance coverage. Accidents happen and ours is a litigious society. Get the best equipment possible with an eye to the future. Salespeople may know the product, franchises may be honorable, therapists may know their patients needs..I hope you find everything readily available and in nearby convenient locations. We all try to help with hints and experiences shared...foresight better than hinsight.. two heads better.... LA Louise wishing for more great ideas and interested insurance companies . the IF a personal aid could be found, insurance for aid injury is hirers responsibility. Will husband do everything or have you worked out an arrangement with agencies to use equipment? will hu
