Have you had your mechanics checked, upper GI or gastroscopy? That will be

how to check.

According to Flanagan, L. Measurement of Functional Pouch Volume

Following the Gastric Bypass Procedure. Ob Surg 1996; 6:38-43, some

slight pouch stretching can occur after a year, but usually the

stretching is done by then. Dr. Flanagan did make the observation that

ultimate pouch size had no correlation to WLS success. Those with an 8

oz pouch were just as successful as those with a 3 oz pouch, and vice

versa. It seems that it is not the size of the pouch, but how it is

used that makes the difference.
