Guest guest
Thank you very much for mentioning the book, we will get it as soon as possible. Take care Hans in Denmark Good book on exercise Hi gang, I recently came across an excellent book of exercises for people with Parkinson's disease, which is applicable for the most part to MSA patients as well. It's called Parkinson's Disease and the Art of Moving, by Argue and is published by New Harbinger Publications, Inc. (www.newharbinger.com). They caught my attention with the very first paragraph: "Many of the people who need this book cannot read it. Their eyes cannot follow lines of print reliably. Reading tires them quickly. Many of the people who need to learn the exercises in this book cannot remember a pattern of movement the day after they learned it. They will need someone to read the exercise directions one at a time while they go through them." We haven't started to work on the exercises yet, but they include stretches, balance exercises, floor exercises and voice and speech exercises. They recommend an hour a day of exercise. It looks good! It can be ordered on line from New Harbinger.
