Hi Barbara: Thanks for your reply. Bob did have a swallowing test & the

results were not good. He aspirated water, so since that time he can

have only pureed food with thickener mixed in. His meds are crushed &

also mixed with thickener. In his case, sometimes the food just doesn't

want to go down or come up...just stays there & causes a great deal of
