Damned if you do, damned if you don't

I'm scheduled for surgery June 22nd. So, yesteday I had my last

major wire change the the OD before I get my surgical wire. I went

into the OD half expecting him to tell me my teeth wouldn't be ready

in time for the surgery and we'd have to postpone it. He took one

look and said I was coming along faster than he had originally

thought, and we'd be in great position for surgery.

All that time I was secretly hoping he would say we would postpone

it, and also hoping he would say exactly what he did. Am I going

nuts here? I can't wait to be on the other side, but now that it's

getting closer and I know the date, I'm starting to get nervous. I

can only imagine how a condemned prisoner feels.

There, now I've vented I feel better. At least for another 36 hours

or so...
