Hi, please see a dermatologist and with meds it should clear right up. Damn I

don't watch the commercials on TV unless it affects me. I only know there are

medications that can take care of that. ...Sue

Barb, what is cea? When I find out what it is, I'll let you know if I

have it. LOL

Sorry to hear about your mom. I lost my mom 2 years ago and it is still

hard. Guess you never totally get over it.

So glad to have you posting. Please keep it up... see, I'm already learning

something new....cea.

hugs

Barb, I do! Altho with all the meds I am on, I can't drink anyting

alcoholic, so it hasn't acted up in quite a while. When it did

though............. I was in great shape, hot flashes, ear flashes and

rosacea! Can you picture it? My doctor had me on some steroid creme (sorry

I can't remember the name), and it kept it under control so long as I didn't

drink. It's just one more thing, isn't it? Love, Judy O

Hi All,

Just wanted to thank everyone on this site who have been so

supportive and helpful to me while I've been researching my possible

orthognathic surgery.

On Monday I saw the Medical Director at the Oral and Facial Surgery

Center at UC San Francisco and he told me that my bite is bad but my

jaws are healthy and advised against having the surgery. In fact he

said that it might cause problems because it would be putting the

jaws in an unnatural position. Since the deciding factor for me

choosing surgery was that it be medically necessary, I have chosen

not to do it at this time. I may decide to get another opinion later

but for now I'm confident that this is the right decision for me and

my family.

I've had so much fun writing, reading and corresponding with you and

will miss all of you. Thanks for everything!

Sue...

If that's what works for your mouth and skeletal configuration,

hey!!! Swell..

You don't have to go away -- but I can certainly understand why you'd

like to leave all this in the distant past.

So grand that yu do not need the surgery.

Is there a way to fix the bad parts of the bite without doing the

whole, big-ole thing, or are you just weary of contemplating anything

to do with it?

Best, whatever the circumstances, and I rejoice with you!
