Guest guest
Hello, I would like to ask every one to say a pray for the families that lost one of there loved ones on weds. As many of you probably already know, weds. here in AZ another truck load of illgal immagrants was found. There where 28 persons in that truck, thus far 14 have died 4 are still missing and 10 are still hospitalized. Although the truck was found near Dateland AZ, the nearest hopsital is Yuma, where I live. The horror to this is not that the truck broke down and left them stranded in the dessert. But rather that they where abandoned, locked in that truck on a day that outside temps. reached 109 degrees. Even if they had managed to get out of the truck, they where 30 miles from the nearest water. And during the heat of the day they would have never made it to water. Some of the media would like most people to believe that this is a rare happening. But sadly this happens several times a year. Last year our boarder partol rescued some 2000 plus people trying to cross the deserts during the heat, or from trying to swim the cannels, both are lethal. The death count is mind boggling. The economy on their side of the boarder is exteremly bad, and the politics are worse. These people are not the drug dealers, criminals or the scum of Mexico. They are simply fathers, sons, mothers, daughters and childern trying to find work to feed the families. No one should have to risk their lives just to have the privilage of working. This is something that dose not need to happen. This is something that should never happen. Please remember them in your prayers. And those who will follow. R.
