I had surgery 1 year ago (Nov 28, 2001) in Fountain Valley, CA with Dr. LePorte. I had a short RNY (open). I've went from 335# to 220# in the past year. I hope with some effort I can drop another 40 #. I'm the second in my family to have WLS. My sister had a gastric bypass done in 1980 - with a revision to a RNY in 1998.
