Guest guest
Hi all ... thanks for all your support and comments on my youngest child! I hope we all survive the last of our teenagers Sandy! I thought 3 was bad and you have 5! Yikes! Saw the surgeon about my arm yesterday. He can't figure out why it has taken so long for this to fester. His diagnosis was superficial phlebitis and celulosis (inflamation or infection of the soft tissue). So I'm on Ibuprofin 4 times a day and Keflex for a week for the infection. I go back on the 6th of June for a second peek. I hope this kicks it. I'll make sure if and when I ever have to have another IV, they use my other arm. This is pretty painful, but I've lived with the pain since the surgery in January. I know, I know ... I should have brought it to their attention along time ago, but I get tired of whining about every little ache and pain. I don't want the dr's thinking I'm a hypochondriac, better yet, we don't want to bring something to their attention they don't know how to diagnose ... like RP .....Hope everyone has a painfree holiday weekend. , my prayers are with the families who lost loved ones in that Arizona fiasco! What a shame. Be well ever! yone and I'll check in soon. Gl enda, I'll be thinking about you while I'm finishing a quilt this weekend as we can't do much with all the rain we are expecting, so might as well quilt my brains out! Guest guest
Kat, Thanks for thinking of me this weekend. Brings tears to my eyes. Makes me want to get out my quilting stuff to! I am going to because I have a special one I have to get done soon. My sister and I have laid out the material just haven't gotten started yet. Getting it ready is half the fun. I think I like quilting because you start with just a bunch of material and end up with a finished project that just amazes you. They are so much fun. I think that you are a whole lot more experienced than I am from the sounds of it. I only do mine as a hobby. You have made yours into a job! ) Of course I would love to have a job or career out of just making quilts. What a life. I see where you mentioned my favorite store too. Or I should say they just love me there!LOL (JoAnne's) I never get out of there with out spending half of my paycheck!LOL Take care and hope your arm gets well soon! Have fun this weekend for me! Lots of Love Glenda Glenda, I'll be thinking about you while I'm finishing a quilt this weekend as we can't do much with all the rain we are expecting, so might as well quilt my brains out!
