My blood pressure always drops when I dump, and I've understood that this is a

normal part of actual dumping and happens to a lot of people. (My husband was a

medic and has a BP cuff, so he's confirmed it for me more than once.) It's one

of the reasons people often feel faint when they dump. I've had it happen to me

behind the wheel of a car when a drive-through coffee stand gave me real sugar

instead of sugar-free latte syrup. I had to pull over and wait it out.

Those do seem like pretty drastic numbers, but mine have been close to that

range during a dump episode a couple of times. One of the reasons I try really

hard not to dump!

In my case, it has nothing to do with dumping..but my blood pressure

frequently runs that low. That is something I am going to address with the

endocrinologist when I see her. I'll fill you in if I get any answers. Not

sure it is something to be so scared over...I've had this for a long

time..and I'm still here! Better than the artery bursting high BP.....IMNSHO

=)
