I often make cranberry-apple-orange relish and can it and give it as gifts, or make chocolate covered pretzels and put them in little saran bags or gift tins. Both of these are extremely simple, quick and low cost. I also like to get those little aluminum bread tins, and bake an assortment of quick breads, and then give two or three of those as a gift. My dogs think they have died and gone to heaven when I make these treats, and it would be a nice gift. Buy a package of Neese's Liver pudding. Cut it up into one inch squares. Place on non stick baking sheet, bake for 2 hours at 250 degrees. My dogs sit by the oven the whole time these are cooking. B

Guest guest
How are the cookie mixes that are in the jars? You put all the dry ingredients into the jar with the note to add whatever (2 eggs, oil and ?) and bake at 350 for x minutes.... and tie a ribbon around the top of the jar. My daughter's Girl Scout troop made them one year. The cookies were really good. doc carolyn Cheap Christmas gifts In a message dated 12/2/2002 8:24:56 PM Pacific Standard Time, PATISINKY@... writes: > I don't have any other ideas for a cheap Christmas gift...any ideas? > Hmmm - I realize mine are almost all food based!
