Guest guest
Winifred, Al has not driven since 1995, he is dizzy all of the time and has double vision. But he still keeps going. He said I can't just sit all of the time. so he and the dogs go out and putter, I keep a check on him since he fell and broke his hip. I still let him do as much for himself as he can. Like one of our sons said when he was here, I told Al to get his tray(it is a struggle) but I let him do it to keep using his arms(we eat on trays at lunch) Mike said that he started to get it for his Dad and then saw that I was letting him do it so he backed off. We also live in a small town, but have to go into Chattanooga to see the doctors. Ann from Soddy,TN
Guest guest
Nice to get your letter this morning, Ann. It is good that Al keeps going. It must be easy to give in to your feelings with the miserable disease. SoddyDaisy has grown a lot since we lived in the area. Hope you have found a good neurologist in Chatta. We are having trouble in that respect. Pets are a form of companionship for Al. We have a little Norwich Terrier, named Lilah. -Winifred---- Original Message ----- To: shydrager > Sent: Sunday, June 23, 2002 5:08 PM Subject: Win & Bill > Winifred, > Al has not driven since 1995, he is dizzy all of the time and has double > vision. Guest guest
Ann: Does the compression hose Al wears bother his feet? Bill's feet cause him a lot of discomfort. He uses foot powder, changes shoes frequently, but can't seem to get any relief. We were wondering perhaps it could be the hose because they fit so tightly.
