Guest guest
I tried to search the archive on this one because I know that it has been discussed in the past, but I came up with nothing. For some reason I was only able to search the last 100 or so messages. At any rate, I was wondering if anyone that has had surgery has had a problem with reoccuring thrush? I have this annoying build up on my tongue STILL... and I am 8 months post op and almost out of my braces. I have been on several rounds of difulcan and most recently switched to Nystatin of which I have gone through three bottles at no avail! Last week I was refered to an ear, nose and throat specialist by my primary care and am still awaiting lab results, but he recommended a mouthwash called Oxifresh. Has anyone ever heard of it? Does anyone have any idea where to find it? Its over the counter and for some reason I have been unable to locate it. Any help is greatly appreaciated! I hope all is well with everyone here, its been a long time!
Guest guest
megan, can i ask what your symptoms are? i've had a sore throat and i've felt like there was some build up of something on my tongue, but since i'm still wired shut i can't tell. does your throat hurt at all? i'm just trying to decide if i should see my doc about this. i go back to him in two weeks to get the wires off, so it could wait till then, but who knows. > I tried to search the archive on this one because I know that it has > been > discussed in the past, but I came up with nothing. Guest guest
You can find Oxyfresh products on the web @ oxyfreshww.com. I use the mouthwash and toothpaste and they are wonderful. I get mine from my dentist. I have never been able to find the products in any retail store.
Guest guest
If you believe in naturopathic or alternative therapies there is an excellent diet that will cure any type of yeast infection, try looking on-line for the yeast syndrome or anti-candida diet. It basically eliminate any food from your diet that yeast feeds on for 2 full weeks, which is enough time fo rthe yeast to die. Then it introduces things back into you diet a little at a time. It worked wonders for me years ago. Let me know if you are interested in more info.
