Guest guest
Connie: No! We had one done recently. What they do is evaluate your home from a safety and functional point of view and make recommendations. They will also watch you perform tasks and movement throughout the home and make recommendations for safer and more effective ways to carry out these actions. I would suggest that you think of any and all questions and write them out as their time will no doubt will be limited. You might want to get a tape recorder and record the discussions. The OT will write a report and probably come back and review it. They can also recommend other actions, e.g. tests but can not write the order. Ours was extremely useful. Guest guest
Nope. You don't need to know anything ahead for the physical or occupational therapist. They will do lots of small little tests, but it tells the therapist where you need to focus your efforts. Nothing complicated. Regards, =jbf= B.
