I had a b-12 shot after delivery of my daughter, and the reading the next day

was 1500 which actually pleased my Dr. So he was not concerned at all and I

have done

monthly shots since. I let the more learned lab results speak further, but I

feel great (with the caveat that I do my protein, iron and other

supplements!)

Hi Faye,

Mine was like that too after getting B12 shots and the hematologist said " no

big deal - can't get too much " ... I did notic within 2 weeks, my B12 was back

down to below normal, so I need mine high... and I think I need some NOW...

JJ congratulations on the new baby. Bet she is so healthy, in spite of

surgery, because we eat well and take our vits. I had two girls and now have

two granddaughters and one grandson. Ain't life good. Fay Bayuk

I am having a senior moment, because I think I asked this before and

can't remember the answer. I give myself B12 shots twice a month.

My last reading was 1100, which is high. Can you take too much B12.

No safe upper limit has been established for B-12, so you should not

have a problem there.
