Hi everybody!

I can officially " opinionate " on this great group for today is my one year

anniversary. I had Roux-en Y with Dr. ph Afram in Washington, DC. as I

right this last December 4-- I'm definitely not as witty as many on this

board, but I love to read your posts which usually enlighten and/or

entertain.

My name is . I turned 50 big ones in September. I've been married to

my high school sweetheart, Joe, for 30 years. We have six children--5 boys

and one girl ages 28---12. No grandchildren to date although two of our

boys are married.

I am 5' 4 " and have gone from 315 lbs. to 174 lbs. I am wearing a size 12

or medium. I must say that besides the new tool I truly believe that the

exercise, that I force myself to do, has been a key to my success with my

size, for never, in all those yo-yo diets that I tortured my life with was

I able to wear a size 12 (which are getting loose) at 174 lbs.

Everyday is a challenge to choose the right foods to help keep me healthy

and I thank the Big Guy up above for helping me to find this group for

support! I look forward to being a part of you!!!!!!!!
