I'm very sorry for everything that you're going through. Taking care of and being around someone who is ill can be challenging at best at times. Though your husband is irritable and unreasonable now, he may be nervous about his upcoming procedure and a bit tired of dealing right now. Doesn't make it right, just the way it is. Hang in there. Better days are coming. I'm with you, looking forward to that ball dropping on New Year's Eve (and for the rest of you, no, I have no intentions of going anywhere near Times Square or that ball), but also trying to enjoy the remaining days of this year and the upcoming holiday.
