Since you have such a good time with this PCP and she knows you so well, and

you trust her, Ask her to find someone that she trust and would go to and

refer you to that person. Its worth a shot, dawn

She's been my GP for quite a few years. She is the one who dx the RP!! I fight

with her all the time. She yells at me, I yell at her, we got along great.

She told me she really hates leaving people like me with serious medical

problems, but she has no choice. Now, I have to go in search of a new GP.

Anyone have any suggestions on what to look for or ask? I hate this. I finally

get a my doctors all line up in a row, and then one flies the coup.

I know I'm not making any sense, but I'm very upset about this. She was a hellva

doctor and I will miss her dearly.

Glad your leg is feeling better. Yes a PCP is a Primary Care Physician. Like a

GP.

Hi Dawn and everyone who replied to my email. First off, thank you all!!!

I appreciate any help I can get, believe me.

I did ask my GP about who she recommends and of course, she recommended the

doctor taking her place.

That's not really what I wanted to hear. Of course she's going to recommend

this doctor, but she didn't " push " him on me, if you know what I mean.

She knows me. LOL

My doctor wants to keep the clinic going strong, so of course, she is going to

recommend the replacement, but that gives me little comfort.

I'm sure I'll find a doc, just have to think of some questions to ask to help

find one by August.
