Upper Jaw: Long Face - Gummy Smile

I am going for surgery in 10 days....I can't believe the day is

almost here. Can anyone share their experiecne post-op to upper jaw

surgery? How long wired or with a splint? Recovery time? Face

changes? Diet??

I have a 'gummy smile' and overbite that is being corrected.

Any advise is greatly appreciated....surgery is around the corner!
