Guest guest
Hi Lillian, It's hard to say whether your chest pain is due to RP. I would talk to your doctor about it. In my case, I have had pain in my sternum and ribs several times and it was diagnosed as costochondritis due to RP. Apparently the cartilage that connects the ribs to the sternum was inflamed. (Quite common in RP.) It was very painful when inhaling deeply or moving. My doctor treated it with anti-inflammatories and pain meds and it went away in a few days. Hope you are feeling better soon.
