hi,

I just realized you posted this awhile ago, but i just joined the

group and assuming you havent been through surgery yet i woud be

glad to answer some questions. I had the same operation (upper jaw

advancement/angle) about five months ago and it went very smoothly.

The recovery was alot easier than I expected as well and I got the

wires off after two weeks. Be prepared for an uncomfortable first

few days but after that its really not bad. I didn't experience any

nausea or pain, just a little trouble breathing, but they worked on

my nose as well so that may have been why. My face was also pretty

numb for about a month,(aka no pain! but difficult to play the

saxophone) and there is still a tiny numb spot that probably wont go

away.if i can answer any other questions, please ask, and best of

luck to everybody!
