Hi guys....

I have been getting together all of my pre-op items and I wanted to

recommend the Zip and Squeeze website for all of you folks on the

verge of surgery.

There have been several posts about how great the Jaw Wrap is - and

the bags, etc.....

But they do have a great reference book called " The Healing Jaw "

which I highly recommend.

Calories are so important for healing - and this book provides really

great nutritional information and recipies for what your daily

caloric intake should be - broken down my carbs, fats, proteins, etc..

I do have one question though...

I have heard that products that contain Arnica (an herbal remedy to

assist in reducing swelling and bruising) is great - but there are

SOOO many products that contain Arnica - There is a topical gel, a

Tea, even supplements.....has anyone tried these before?

Let me know!!!

My magical date is May 4th...and I am totally freaked out!!!

My oral surgeon recommended the arnica homeopathic pills (little

while pills that you dissolve under your tongue.) After surgery, I

continued to take those (about 4 every couple of hours) and then

used " arnica gel " on my jaws, and am continuing with the gel just on

my incisions sites now. I got both products at a health food store.

I had a bit less swelling than average, so maybe it does help!
