Guest guest
hi everyone, it's been one year since i had upper and lower jaw surgery and genio. I cannot convey how happy I am to have had it done and to be recovered After surgery it was a really hard 2 months, but after that I just kept getting better and better. Now one year on, I'm still a tiny bit swollen, but I'm the only one who can notice. Also no more braces!! I thankfully have no dificulties now. From time to time I may have a little bit of an odd sensation in my jaw area, but my DR has assured my thats normal. If anyone wants to ask me any questions about my experience I would be very happy to answer anything. The whole surgery experiece was really traumatic for me - but I am sooo happy to say that I am one year post-op!!!!
Guest guest
how long were you wired and how did you feel when you were unwired? i've been wired for a little over five weeks now and the wires come off on april 27th. i'm concerned about how well i'm going to be able to open my jaw when the wires come off. i've heard people say that they can barely open their mouths at first. i'm so ready to eat some real food... i'm just wondering how long it will take me to get back to normal. > hi everyone, > > it's been one year since i had upper and lower jaw surgery and genio. > > I cannot convey how happy I am to have had it done and to be > recovered > > After surgery it was a really hard 2 months, but after that I just > kept getting better and better. Guest guest
Hi hilary7000! Congrats on the 1 year anniversary! I'm having upper and lower jaw surgery 3 weeks today, and I'll be glad when I'm able to say I'm 1 year post-op! I'm very nervous about this surgery and it would be very helpful to me if you could tell me about your surgery. Were you in much pain? Was it hard to breathe? How long did it take you to feel like yourself again? Thanks so much! hawaiidreamer06 > hi everyone, > > it's been one year since i had upper and lower jaw surgery and genio. > > I cannot convey how happy I am to have had it done and to be > recovered > > After surgery it was a really hard 2 months, but after that I just > kept getting better and better.
