Guest guest
Jan, I just wrote Belinda on this same subject line. In a nutshell, Belinda and her husband, You and Jerry, and Me, Dee and ?, and and ? Have RSVPed. is planning to bbq a prime rib or something. We thought that 11 - 3 give or take depending on how those of us that fatigue easily are doing would be a good time frame. If everyone is having fun, those who need a nap can take one and the events can continue. needs some idea's on what to fix to eat. I told him heavy protein like he was thinking might not be such a good idea. Suggestions are welcome and hoped for. We love feeding folks. Just don't know what dietary restrictions everyone else has. is already planning how to rearrange the furniture so that there will be plenty of room for 3 wheelchairs or more. I've run into one huge problem though. I can't find a neuro that is willing to participate in the pin the tail on the neuro contest... so I guess we will have to find an alternate game. Whaaa! Got some other GREAT news today. The next day, the 28th, my 14 year old son is flying in to spend a week with me. This planned weekend in July will defiantly be one filled with tears of joy! I can't wait. Guest guest
Sounds great to me, Deborah. I am so glad we will all get a chance to be together. Sorry to hear about the pin the tail on the Neuro. game being cancelled. I was really looking forward to that one, oh well. Wheelchair races should be a real hit though...and I am personallly looking forward to the stump the caregiver game. The time sounds great. I will think about the food issue and talk with about that. We will arrive in Charlotte on the 26th and would be willing to help get food ready. Maybe there will be leftovers for a growing 14 yr. old boy. What a busy week for you.
