I've tried asking this very question, a number of times, in

fact. I received such negative and angry responses from her that I

have given up. If she is really interested in supporting members,

she would either be more active, or designate another active member

to co-moderate the site. It's normal for people to move on, but not

to abandon the groupsite, as she's clearly done here.

If you go to her tripod site, you might find an e-mail address there.

Maybe if everyone e-mails her asking her to allow someone to co-

moderate she will understand and give in. Of course we can all go to

site 2, I know a lot of people are already there.

Me, too, Dammit, although I haven't offered to take on the

responsibilities, as I think Miz Fiddly did do. And at least

one other person I know of. The responses were negative and

defensive, best i know.

I dunno why these things are in such a predicament. I do know that I

found the website on Tripod, messaged her, and got no response...

I'm glad she's not an eternal, professional jaw surgery patient, but

don't understand why she doesn't care for her baby enough at least to

let it find an adoptive home. She did a marvelous, most helpful thing

in setting up the site. I'd never have known a clue about doing so.

But in the absence of a caretaker, best alternative I've found: OSS2.

Well, poopie-do. I tried to do this in an e-mail, with the last

message I sent her attached. But I can't figure out how to send it.

I'm truly prejudiced, but I think it's not nearly as good a group as

this one, nor as oss2... Not that any of that matters, if folks get

help there, of course.

If you're better at punching these buttons than I am, you can go to

home, or owner, or some such, which is still tripod, and actually get

a link to her.

If you go to the site, you will see my latest plea to her, which I

thought was nicely put, and meant that way. She did, indeed, do all

of us a service by figuring out how to set it up in the first place.

I'd have been through so much un-necessary H*** without my friends

here...

Maybe she will respond more readily to a good-looking young (despite

the viejo thing) feller than she did to me.

I've e-mailed and she is not interested in allowing someone

else to co-moderate. She did get back to me fairly quickly though and

said she would do what she could about the spam and the photos though

she encourages everyone to post their photos in some other way and

put the link under the links section.
