Guest guest
Carmela, Please do not be afraid to take Flovent, it will help. Just remember to rinse your mouth out after each usage. Matty uses it all the time and he has never had thrush. Eating a bit of yogurt will also help to keep the thrush at bay. What you are describing is an expiatory stridor. Please see a pulmonary doctor and have it looked into. Hope this helps. R. << However, I have some wheezing which my GP has diagnosed it as mild asthma or bronchial spasm, but I breathe ok most of the time and there is no pain, just occasional coughing to try to clear the congestion a bit. I hear a squeaky/whistling kind of noise on long exhales and especially when I lie down; and sometimes a slight heaviness on the chest. My GP prescribed Flovent, which I'm too chicken to try as she said it can cause thrush... But I'll use it soon just to rid myself of these symptoms. >>
