Hi mirrors-

I'm now 5 days post op and am to be wired for 1 month. WOW, 5 1/2

weeks? Thats a long time. I was wondering if you could share some

meal receipes or favorite liquid foods with me. I'm just getting back

my strength and appetite after my surgery. The past 4 days I've been

pretty sluggish, sleeping a lot, watching lots of TV. But today my

swelling has been going down gradually and i'm starting to feel

better.

Only problem is, I'm having a hard time finding things that I

like/want to eat. So far most daily meals have been a combo of: choc.

ensure, carn inst b'fast, pureed soups, milkshakes, and variou

juices. I know I've only been wired 5 days, but now I'm getting

desperate. I think I've heard of people making mashed potatoes with

milk or things like that.

If you could please share a few meals that you've been making on a

regular basis, I'd really appreciate it.

Best of luck when those wires come off...sure with I was only 4 days

away. Thanks again,
