DammitViejo - I guess as long as I type in spanish I better use the full nickname... > > > The chicken enchiladas sounds great, but how about some good old > > > mexican stews or soups, I made pork and hominy (pozole) > yesterday > > and > > > thought how easy it would be to throw it in the blender if the > > hominy > > > was cooked until soft enough! > > > > > > I'll definetly try that! > > > > > > Marsha > > >
Guest guest
I'll send you some grits if you'll send me some Fideo! (But I think I'll get the better of the bargain with that one.) Fideo sounds like a trustworthy dish! I'm sorta thinking that you also want neither chitlin's (in addition to the rubbery nature, you don't wanna know the ingredients) nor Hazlett. (The problem there is the ingredients.) Never mind. Brunswick stew, however, could be a total other ballgame. Yumm! (Not if you're wired, though. Polenta? (I've never had any success at making it. I can't make piecrust, either -- I know, there's a deficiency in my Southern Domesticated Housewife gene. But I'd think it would me nice and soft and smushy and good, if you're hungry for something other than a milkshake, and if you can open wide enough to get it in and squish.) I figure that polenta is the moral equivalent of grits and both are the moral equivalent of risotto. But Child will probably hit me over the head with a rolling pin for having said so. I'll try to remember " pero. " Never encountered that one before. C. A laugh is always worthwhile, methinks. Pleased to have obliged. Now I'm off to sleepyland, before I get hungry again. > Oh Ms. Cammie... You do make me laugh at times... > > Fideo is this wonderful dish that my bride calls 'that spaghetti > stuff'.
