Grits did cross my mind, but as you said, it would take lots of swishing after eating them if one has a splint. I love cheese grits! Just steer me clear from instant. I prefer the long cook kind . . . much creamier to me. I would appreciate those recipes for grits and cheese souffle or garlic grits when you get a chance. Merci!
