Under todays health news

" Popular Thyroid Drug Faces Deadline "

>>

Marilyn, I couldn't find this article, but I did find great info for

acupuncture and autoimmune diseases. It is at the bottom under " Acupuncture

may help pain "

Thanks for the site. I will continue to search for the Thyroid Drug article.

My sister will be interested.

Dear ,

I also looked for the article this AM and it was gone from the site

and I couldn't find any archives where it might have been. It was

probably last Fridays news. Like a ninny, I didn't make a paper copy

of the article. It was interesting and I'll check some other web

sites and see if I can find it. Love, Marilyn

Marily, I have done the same thing, waited too long to print or send the

article. LOL

But I did find that great stuff on Acupuncuture, so you were really helpful

in sending the site.

How are you?? I hope better. I woke up tired and achey. My feet are acting

up again. Darn!!

It suppose to be warm here today 80-90 degrees. I have a list of stuff I

need to get done, but just don't want to. LOL I will post you later.

Know I'm thinking about you.

, I did find the article and basically it said

that the makers of synthroid had applied to the FDA

for synthroid to be recognised as a safe and effective

drug; but the FDA refused as they said it is not the

same formula as it used to be and that also the

manufacturers put more levothyroxine in than is on the

label, to increase shelf life. Therefore you are not

getting the same dose always. That is the general

gist. I go from synthroid to Eltroxin (European

equivalent) and back, depending where I am, but I

can't say I notice a lot of difference when I change,

although doctors in USA throw up their hands in horror

when I tell them this, but I can't stock up as it does

have a limited shelf life. They also said there was

no danger of Synthroid being withdrawn. Love Liz
