Guest guest
Hi, Lori -- Re. your question about weights on the Grad-OSSG board, there is absolutely no difference in quality among the various weights available. As long as they weigh what they're supposed to, they'll work fine. What you might like to consider, though, is elastic tubing. The reason I suggest this is that you can vary the tension so that the workout you get matches your own physical strength. If you can stand (some can, some can't!), he has an excellent video out called " Tone 'n' Sweat " , which comes complete with what he calls a " toning cord " (it's elastic tubing). It's a half hour workout, and a good intro to strength training. Plus, when you're more advanced, you can take it with you when you travel, and you've got your own little workout in a box, rather than lugging around heavy free weights. Hope this helps you out! -- <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><> RNY September 19, 2001 Dr. Freeman, Ottawa General Hospital BMI then: 43.5 BMI now: 22.1 -152.5 lbs <><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><><>
