Guest guest
Click here: Hard Choices For Loving People I am posting this because this was the single most helpful booklet to me as I went through the last six months of Ken's life. I am not suggesting to anyone that it is time for this, but I do think what it says is worth thinking about. I know that Ken's last months were peaceful and no longer burdened by my attempts to get him to keep fighting just for me. Those of you who went through this time with me will remember that Ken got so much better during that time that he almost didn't qualify for Hospice, and he even weathered a bout with sepsis without using antibiotics because he was not ready yet to go. The day did come, however, when he slammed his hands on the table and refused to do any more exercises, and it was only a couple of weeks later that he finally did let himself go. Yes, Belinda, I do believe that we will be together again one day. Love, Barbara
