Guest guest
Bill, This may be too late to help as I'm not sure when you posted this. However, we had not set up anything in regards to donating my father's brain, but were still able to make arrangements immediately after his death. --- Werre b.werre@...> wrote: > Hi all, > > I just heard from . Guest guest
, Hi. It was too late. for the brain donation. I am having an autopsy by a neuro-pathologist and that can help towards research. The pathologist is familiar with Shy Drager and is really informed. Felt so good to speak to someone who could relate to all that Dan had been through. The brain donation is something that Dan really wanted. He so wanted a cure in his lifetime. He'd done his stink with NIH and that in itself was traumatic and invasive. so guys, get on the ball and do the paper in advance. we need a cure! , I'm so glad that you were able to get the brain to your research place in time. Love,
Guest guest
, Rob and I are so sorry to hear of Dan's passing. You both put up a good fight for a long time, and thankfully he is at peace now. I hope you can get some rest and that time will bring you a sense of peace too. Our prayers are with you and your family, Carol & Rob Lexington, MA Re: Dan Ramm/Brain donation/Bill , Hi. Guest guest
----- Original Message ----- Dear , Just wanted to send a note saying how sorry I am that you have lost your precious Dan. It was so obvious to me in your emails just how close the two of you have been in your life together. I know that you have done so very much to help him through this whole process. He will always be with you; I truly believe that. I hope that, at some point when you get farther away from the sadness, you will be able to sense his presence at your side and feel him there in your heart. I know how important you and Dan were to my dad when he was alive. Please know that you and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. Hugs, Diane > > If you do not wish to belong to shydrager, you may > unsubscribe by sending a blank email to > > shydrager-unsubscribe > > > > >
