Any bikers here? Wondering if you were not allowed to ride for a

certain time period after surgery? My full face helmet hugs my

cheeks tight and wearing one doesn't sound like the best idea,

especially after upper surgery. Of course I don't condone riding

w/out a full face helmet, I do like my jaws (however crooked they

are!) and would like to keep them!

Hi there, I ride...I have had my bike out a couple times

since the surgery. I didn't ask my doc and managed to get

my full-face helmet on. It was comfortable when wearing it,

just uncomfortable to take off. I seem to be okay for now :)

My mom would say, " Sure you can ride - but you can't hit

anything. " :)

Great question, we are planning a 10 day motorcycle trip in august,

camping at night. I will only be 11 weeks post op and I'm not sure if

I will be able to do it. I guess I will have to play it by ear. I do

not wear a full face helmet, I've always found them uncomfortatble,

possibly due to my underbite(?) I wear a half face shield, but the

pull from the wind on the helmet worries me. Maybe after the surgery

I will not find the ull face so uncomfortable.
