Guest guest
One of the things that helps me is Neutrogenia Norwegian Formula for dry skin. I can put that on, and it soothes my skin almost immediately. It seems to be an issue for me when I've been in the sun too long, or after I take my nightly meds-- so I think a part of it is side effect of the meds in that combination. Amazing that it is almost always the palms of my hands, my arms and legs that seem to be the problem. I question if it's that these are more exposed-- or that the extremities are the leaching place for meds. (Soles of your feet, palms of your hands, top of your head). Guest guest
I seem to have more trouble with my left arm, which gets more sun exposure due to driving, I can get an itch attack on just that arm, like I want to rip the skin off, I also have this awesome ointment a Derm gave me about 4 years ago, and it take away the itching, and it reduces the redness and funny look the Sarcoid leaves on my face, again worse if been in the sun! I don’t seem to have any trouble taking my meds, my liver functions have always been normal as well, I’ve been real lucky there. My doctor did increase my Mtx to 20mgs/week Tracie, and I am doing better with the movement of my left leg, trying to keep positive thoughts in my head since the last time I went to a healing service, I do so get a lot out of them, if ever any of you have a chance to go to some kind of healing service give it try, you just never know. I don’t have any trouble with my palms or soles of my feet, but head that is a different story, I always have lesions on my head, they itchburn do both at the same time, they don’t bleed, but if you scratch off the skin on a lesion man it burns like someone is touching you with a match, ouch! And I do that especially at night when trying to fall asleep, then I get up and use my ointment, again very helpful! Sorry to rattle on, hope you all are well; I know there’s a lot going on, hang in there and keep up the positive thoughts!
