Guest guest
Hi Winifred, Sorry you are having trouble with this. Since I don't know how far you got with this it's difficult to help but I'll give it a shot. I'll assume you were able to download it completely but perhaps didn't know how to install it. I'll assume also that you have a PC with Windows and not a MacIntosh. Try clicking on START Then on SEARCH or FIND Then on FILES or FOLDERS Type in: AIM95*.* If you find this file then doubleclick your mouse on it. That should start the install process. Follow along with it and answer any questions. When it's complete it should add an icon to your screen that looks like an Orange or Yellow Stickman. You will need to make sure this program is running before you can join the chat room. Double click on the icon ... you should know it's running if you see the small stickman in the lower right corner of your screen. After you have the stickman running then you have to open your web browser and go to the chat page http://accesswave.ca/~pbower/msachat.htm Then click on Join My Chatroom Good luck! Guest guest
Definitely east. North east actually.. I'm in Nova Scotia. There were a few night owls up last night talking in the chat room. For some reason strawberry shortcake came up and then we all left to go eat something. Re: MSA CHAT - Winnifred Thanks for the " hooray " Pam. Anxious for a trial run.too. Didn't read your message until this morning; missed your chat session. Do you live East of the Mississippi or West? Just wondering. I read your bio on your web page. Felt like I had paid a personal visit. Your cats are handsome. High class names, too. Much obliged again for all your help. Winifred
Guest guest
I lived in Fredericton for 4 years ... I studied at university there.. Computer Science. Beautiful little city on the river, I still miss it sometimes. We try to get back every couple years for a visit. I also have Welsh ancestors as well as German, Dutch and Scotch. Are you in Clinton, South Carolina? I apparently have distant cousins in SC... some of my ancestors were Loyalists and moved from there to Nova Scotia in the 1700's... others stayed in SC to become Americans. My husband was born in the US to French Canadian parents who lived and worked there for 20 years and then moved back to their roots in New Brunswick. Hope you make it to the Sunday chat. Take care, Pam Re: MSA CHAT - Winnifred I remember reading Nova Scotia in your bio, now. We live in a Presbyterian retirement complex in Clinton and we had a good friend here that was born and raised in Nova Scotia (she died last year). She had lived in the States for many years but dearly loved to talk about her Nova Scotia heritage. I am of Welsh extraction and have relatives living in New Brunswick. Fredericton. Haven,t been in contact with them for some time. I wonder if any support group members are Welsh. Bill is doing pretty good, so far, with his MSA. biggest problem at the moment is fatigue and rigidity. Winifred
