Guest guest
i couldn't sleep all night. my husband is in the Er and I can't be with him. I can't drive, have this nuero disease and no care today. I gave the aide the day off because i think it is important to be with ur family on holidays. Once again the only ones that seem to be here for us are the doctors, nurses and our 19 year old. I didn't hear once all evening and night about MONEY or how someone couldn't afford something because they didn't make enough or how whatever isn't their job. Through this all I watched many people. That is all I couldn't really do. Our son took me home at 4 AM and he is getting up at 1 PM to work in the same ER the following 2 days that his father is in and that I frequent as a patient. In addition to working in a lab without pay and hoping that a journal article will be born. Our son rehooked his father back to the ekg machine and bp/hr,ect. monitors without fumbling and with great speed. I was shocked. Well my husband just called from the ER and I have to go wake up our young adult child at 8 am on the day he has to work 2nd shift for 2 days , so we can pick up his father; my husband. Thank God. Ya know he is going to make one heck of a physician someday. ha who says young people are irresponsible and never around? We are the luckiest family. We had care when we needed it, and we were together! nancy m.
